About Me

Jacqueline Franklin Headshot Coach2GrowthMy Executive Coaching Backstory

I spent years on the corporate hamster wheel, keeping my head down and running hard. I achieved a number of my career goals, was paid well, and received my fair share of accolades. At the same time, I had little connection to why I was working so hard, and skillfully compromised my well-being and personal life.

Then, while leading the marketing organization of an Internet start-up, the investors got skittish. With one flick of their wrists, the entire executive team was fired in a day. It was then that I looked up and asked that proverbial question, “is this all there is?” I did some soul searching and received excellent coaching myself. I explored other ways to lead, share my gifts, and achieve my goals…while honoring what is important to me. In effect, I jumped off the hamster wheel and never looked back.

I launched a strategic marketing consulting business (Routes2Market) to help companies grow revenue through selling channels. Then, several years ago, I launched Coach2Growth to address a growing need that I saw in all of my client engagements for leadership development and personal growth.

Now, each day I’m inspired by my clients who are looking for new strategies to accomplish their career goals in a way that is in line with their values and balanced with their personal lives. What gets me up in the morning is being a supportive voice of reason and an accountability partner for business executives who want to achieve more, be recognized, and to prosper fearlessly.

Perhaps, I’ve come full circle!

The Front Story

I’m passionate about helping business leaders and organizations achieve their full potential. Having led teams and managed multi-million dollar budgets, I’ve walked in shoes similar to yours and know how to get to the heart of what is holding you back, and how to resolve it…quickly and painlessly.

I’ve held senior sales and marketing positions within start-ups and global companies with various business models, and consulted to and coached business leaders and teams, including Motorola, Verizon Wireless, and IBM. I love to help business people reinvent themselves, or refine their communication styles, so they may lead authentically and help their organizations succeed, all while enjoying the ride a little bit more.

I bring energy and a fresh perspective to the challenges you or your organization face.  Whether through a strategic planning off-site, or individual coaching sessions, I apply proven tools and a process to help you set and achieve your goals, as well as identify and remove pesky development obstacles.

Adding to my professional coaching experience is an MBA and a BA in Social Work and Psychology. I’m also a Certified Professional Coach and a Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index (an intriguing assessment that gauges how you “show up” every day).

As a Board Member of Girls, Inc. for six years, I participated in a capital campaign that raised over $10M for a new building and gymnasium that hosts myriad after-school programs for girls at risk.  I’m also a member of The Boston Club—one of the largest communities of women executives and professional leaders in the Northeast. To fine-tune my speech craft, I’m an active member, and VP of membership, in a local Toastmasters organization, where my speaking topics tend to focus on (surprise!) leadership development.

When I’m not working, I enjoy yoga, cycling and taking pictures of the sunrise at my neighborhood beach in Marblehead, Massachusetts, a charming and historic seaport village. My husband teaches English, Speech and Debate, and Mindfulness to high school students. In his spare time, he is an Education Coach, an avid cyclist, family gardener and chef extraordinaire. Our son is studying physics and music in college, and our daughter completed a business degree, and is working in the fashion industry. We are embracing our empty-nest status, along with Zorro, the wonder dog.

Indeed, life is good!
